Ground Rules

Forum Rules:
1.Matchups will be posted weekly
for tournament points. non
participation by Friday, 8 pm
Pacific time will result in
forfeiture by the non
participant/s for all
tp not earned.

2. Bumping posts should be done
sparingly. if you're commenting
on a post, add something
important please.

3. Official tournaments will be
hosted by cagethedarkmaster, and
all replays and judgement calls
will be at the discretion of
cagethedarkmaster.

4. All official members added by a
leader/subleader will be entered
into consideration for weekly tp
earnings.

5. Official tournaments are
optional, however, tp is earned
when you participate, so each
player must use discretion when
deciding if or not to join the
official tournaments.

6. Gross unprofessional conduct
during official events, especially
those involving money, will result
in being banned from the team. This
includes leaving during an official
duel, insulting the player's deck
(I.E. calling them cookie cutter
or meta only players), insulting
the player, or taking any action
to recover entry fees for official
tournaments. the only exception
in which a player may request a
refund is if the tournament is
cancelled. All such bans will result
in player forfeit of both funds and
the current event they're in.
(refunds MAY be given at the
host's discretion only)

7. Minor events, those that occur
outside of official events (I.E.
name calling or slander) will be
served a warning the first time,
a day ban the second offense, and
a week ban the third offense.

8. Dorm testing will be done by
all members for placement into
a dorm. it will consist of a written
test, after which
each player will be assigned a dorm.
placement exams are mandatory.
Testing will be administered at the
discretion of cagethedarkmaster.

9. Each week, on friday at 2 pm Pacific
time, duelists may take an exam and
dueling test in order to advance a
dorm. Testing will be administered
at the discretion of cagethedarkmaster

10. If one player is present for their
appointed duels and their opponent
doesn't show, the no show will forfeit
and the present duelist will recieve
a win.

11. During written exams, a duelist may
use any outside help (ygopro, yugioh-
wikia.com, etc) to find answers to the
questions. each test will be timed,
though, to guarantee that they may not
use outside resources to complete the
entire test. a duelist should have
experience with said test questions
gained either from dueling, or from
studying such sources prior.

12. Criteria for Dormitories are as follows:
a. Utopia Gold: 91-100% score on written exam
b. Dark Magician Purple: 81-90% score on written exam
c. Stardust Dragon White: 71-80% score on written exam
d. Grapha Black: 70% and under score on written exam

in order to go from one dorm to the next highest dorm,
you must score in the same percentile or higher for the
dorm you wish to move up in on the written exam, plus
meet the conditions of the duel test. a score that is
in a lower percentile than your current dorm will
automatically downgrade you to the next lowest dormitory.

13. for our members that are in other time zones, you may use
a time zone converter (google it) to compare
and adjust your schedule for the difference in time zones.
